Samples in different status for Garments' production

For an order of garment, we need different kinds of samples for checking in diffrerent status, in apparel, from very begain to the end, we call them: proto samples, photo shooting samples, salesment samples, pre-production samples, shipping samples.

Now let us clarify what do them mean and why we need them.

First, a proto sample, we make this sample just want to check the style and workmanship mainly. Because people can't figure out clothes from artwork, we can't imagine the exact effect until we wear a really jacket/pant/shirt/short........ Normally, most of accessaries in clothes can be substituted because people just want to confirm the style and workmanship at this status.

Second, photo shooting samples, in order to promote the sale of clothes, people will take some pictures of clothes then post them on website or advertisement to attract people's interesting, it is a behavior of promotion.

Third, salesment samples, in this status, we need to use correct fabric materials and accessaries to make clothes, we sale those clothes to test which style or size is popular, pelople like which color, or if people like those style.

Pre-production samples, we make this sample for client to check if everything is correct before production, to avoid mistake and set up the standard of quality and workmanship for orders, it is important for both factory and client, people will check if bulk production is correct by comparing with Pre-production sample.

Shipping samples, we sent this sample about 2 weeks earlier before delivery goods, client need to check all of products are committing to requirements of order, to confirmation if factory can ship the goods or not.

In reality, maybe we can give up some samples, but there are two samples we can't abandon, which is proto sample and pre-production, because we need to confirm the style and workmanship firstly, then we will set up the standard of production.
